Family and Friends Day Thoughts

Saturday 3rd September was a day when all of us at the SWAA can give ourselves a pat on the back.

What a success!!!

From the home baking to the face painting, with all the stalls and activities in between we had an amazing time.

The weather stayed fine and dry which was wonderful and the turn out far exceeded expectations.

I lost count of the number of plot holders who approached the Committee and sub Committee to comment on the success of the day.

If we can have all that support with only one piece of negative input, I think we have had a truly brilliant time.

Lessons were learned, e.g. Don't serve coffee with cold water!!!! ...... to........how to erect a gazebo or put up bunting without falling down!
